DW-0.1 Declaration of Purpose
Serving Christ by guarding the integrity of worship, truth, and God’s order among His people.
The Divine Watch exists to serve God by helping restore order where disorder, neglect, or corruption have taken root.
Its purpose is to stand as a body of disciplined servants who strengthen communities, protect the vulnerable, and help restore the conditions under which truth, healing, and faithful living may flourish.
Those who stand within the Watch commit themselves to walk in Christ, recognising Him as the path by which humanity is reconciled to the Father. In doing so they honour the obligations of reverent worship, faithful teaching, and the disciplines through which the life of faith is sustained.
The Watch stands not in competition with the Church, but in vigilance alongside it. Where worship is offered sincerely, the Watch honours it; where truth is taught faithfully, the Watch supports it. Its role is that of a sentinel at the gate, guarding the reverence of worship and the faithful stewardship of spiritual authority.
Members of the Watch recognise a duty of conscience to uphold the laws of God and the integrity of the faith entrusted to the people. Where reverence is neglected, where the vulnerable are ignored, or where teachings drift from truth, the Watch bears witness and calls attention to the standard that has been given by God.
The Watch does not seek power, wealth, or influence for its own sake. Its work is stewardship: ensuring that what is good, just, and life-giving is protected, strengthened, and returned to the service of God.
Members commit themselves to the restoration of body, mind, and spirit so that they may serve with clarity, discipline, and compassion. Through these commitments they become capable of helping others restore their lives and communities.
Through covenant, service, and faithful stewardship, the Watch works toward the restoration of a world in which truth is spoken plainly, justice is upheld faithfully, and worship remains sincere before God.
This is the purpose for which the Divine Watch stands.
